Located in the London Borough of Redbridge and together with Woodford Green, Woodford Wells and Woodford Bridge forms the area known as Woodford.
Having grown up in South Woodford, Richard our Director is going to be completely biased when it comes to talking about the area. Personal interests include long walks through Epping Forest, grabbing an Italian Special from Little Woodford Café for lunch and jumping on the train into City to meet friends after work.
South Woodford offers so much to so many, with George Lane being at the center of most that is going on. There is a great selection of retailers and eateries, from M&S and Waitrose to superb restaurants that include Grand Trunk Road, the long-established Italian at Ninos, Sushi at Sakura, and fish at the Ark on Hermon Hill. For lunchtime try a bite to eat and coffee at Little Woodford, Tipi Coffee, and Flock. There are also regular farmers and craft markets along with our very own Cinema.
This residential area has a wide range of property, from period Edwardian and Victorian splendour to spacious pre and post-war homes on the well-known Firs Estate. A range of conversions, maisonettes, and apartments completes the wide range of property South Woodford has to offer.
Great transport links includes its Central Line station which can take you into Canary Wharf, the City and the West End. Road links via the A406, A12, M11 and M25 are all close by. There is a wide range of state and private schools that include Snaresbrook Primary, Snaresbrook College, Churchfields Junior, St Aubyn’s, Oakdale, and Nightingale Primary Schools.
And last but not least, with Epping Forest on your doorstep, the area really does offer something for everyone.
